The galvanized tubular steel slab prop with up to 50 kN load-bearing capacity

PEP Ergo Slab Props

High load-bearing capacity with low dead weight

PEP Ergo Props are a durable and versatile construction prop, primarily used for supporting slab formwork.

Clever features ensure fast and safe handling including the adjusting nut indicating the direction of operation, or the ergonomic G-Hook which does not jam.  Galvanisation guarantees a long service life, however, any damage that does occur during tough everyday working operations is repairable due to the separate and replacable inner and outer tubes.

High load-bearing capacity is combined with a low dead weight to provide ease of handling on site and transportation to it.  The capacity factor (the load-bearing capacity to prop weight ratio) can reach up to 70% above the values of comparable slab props.  PEP Ergo Props fully comply with Load Class B, D and E of EN 1065 with a maximum load-bearing capacity of 50kN.

The complete galvanisation of all surfaces guarantees a long service life.

PEP Ergo Slab Props in action

  • PERI PEP Ergo Slab Props: The shape of the lowering nut shows the direction for lowering when under load and allows damagefree and gentle lowering of materials.
    Intuitive adjusting nut

The form of the lowering nut dictates the direction of lowering the load, while the captive handgrip allows easy adjustment.

  • PERI PEP Ergo Slab Props: In addition to the tripod, the PRK frame can be used as an assembly aid.
High-load bearing capacity & easily adjustable

The 12 cm long adjustment range eliminates frequent re-positioning whilst the measuring scale on the inner tube accelerates length pre-adjustments.

Prop load up to 50 kN – with a comparatively low dead weight
    (PEP Ergo E-300+: G = 19.3 kg; max. F = 50.4 kN).
